Raritan
announced a major software upgrade to its dcTrack data center
infrastructure management solution that helps data centers visualize
and automate the tracking and management of IT and facility systems.
dcTrack’s workflow and change management capabilities support the
daily operations of managing data centers and reduce significant
costs associated with decentralized and manual tracking of key data
center assets.
Simplex
Isolation Systems introduces a mounting track system designed
specifically for the data center environment. The DCT angle track
includes several innovative features. Two linear threaded parallel
channels accommodate several types of machined and sheet metal
fasteners without having to drill holes.
MTU
Onsite Energy introduced its MTU diesel-powered generator set
covering a range of 250 kW to 600 kW. The gen set is based on the MTU
Series 1600 engine, through which MTU’s proprietary power range is
extended from as low as 250 kW up to 3,250 kW.
Toshiba
added three model sizes to its G9000 uninterruptible power systems
product line. This second phase of development expands the G9000s
original offering of 80, 100, 160, and 225 kVA systems to include
300, 500, and 750 kVA models as well. The first of these units began
shipping in January 2010.
The
Data Center in a Row (DCR) is a totally integrated, closed
architecture, data center. The DCR provides power, security, fire
detection and suppression, 17.5 kW of cooling, management,
monitoring, and back up cooling for network closets and data centers.
The integrated Liebert Challenger air conditioning unit supplies cool
air to a dampered plenum below the cabinets. Warm return air is
returned to the ac unit via a top plenum above the cabinets.
HP IP Console Switch G2 with Virtual Media (8 and 32 port) for heterogeneous data center management. With IP Console Viewer software, enables remote access to multiple servers running various operating systems. Manage remote sites as if you were actually there, including software installation and maintenance using virtual media.
