Interxion, a European provider of carrier-neutral colocation data center services, has announced the construction of its second data center in Stockholm (“STO 2”) and expansions to its Frankfurt 6 data center (“FRA 6.3”) and Copenhagen 1 data center (“CPH1”).
The fast growing data center provider will now have a presence in the fourth largest U.S. market.

QTS (Quality Technology Services) has announced that it has purchased a former semiconductor plant with plans to transform the facility into a state-of-the-art data center.

Internap Network Services Corporation has released the results of a survey that shows IT organizations are seeking to transform their traditional colocation environments with “cloudy colo” capabilities that deliver hybridization with cloud services as well as cloud-like visibility and control.
