RadiusDC, a leading provider of data center solutions, has announced its acquisition of a network-centric data center located in Miami. This strategic move marks a significant expansion of the company's capacity and presence in the South Florida market.

The acquired facility is a Tier III, SSAE 16-compliant data center, offering 12,500 square feet of raised floor space. It is strategically located near the NAP of the Americas, a major network interconnection point. The data center boasts high-density power capabilities, redundant systems, and advanced security measures to ensure the highest levels of uptime and data protection.

RadiusDC's new Miami location is designed to meet the growing demands of businesses requiring colocation space, cloud services, and disaster recovery solutions in the region. The facility's network-centric design, with multiple fiber providers on-site, provides clients with a wide range of connectivity options.

"Data centers are crucial in connecting communities, enabling economic growth, and in providing access to information and education," commented Mauricio Giusti, Partner at Actis. "With this sale, we have found a strong buyer in RadiusDC, and we look forward to seeing Miami I grow under its new ownership, as NextStream continues to focus on the rapidly expanding Latin American market."

RadiusDC has stated its commitment to investing in the new location. The company plans to implement its standard operating procedures and best practices across all aspects of the facility's management. Existing employees of the acquired data center will be joining the RadiusDC team, ensuring continuity and expertise in the operation of the site.

The Miami acquisition is part of RadiusDC's broader growth strategy, following recent expansions in Chicago and Dallas. The company continues to focus on providing its clients with access to highly connected, secure, and reliable data center facilities in key markets.

"We believe Miami I is an ideal asset to expand the geographic reach of our connectivity-focused platform given the strength of its existing network and immediately available growth potential," stated Mike Krza, Chief Executive Officer of RadiusDC. "We are excited to deliver new strategic data center capacity in the South Florida market over the coming year."

The addition of the Miami data center to the RadiusDC portfolio offers businesses in the region a compelling solution for their data center needs. With its strong network infrastructure, robust security, and commitment to service excellence, RadiusDC is well-positioned to meet the evolving demands of the South Florida market.

"The Miami I acquisition represents an important milestone in our plan to expand the RadiusDC platform. These assets allow us to address another important edge market with significant expansion capacity for our core hyperscale customer base in a highly connected environment," added Christopher Jensen, Managing Director of IPI.
