FARMINGDALE, N.Y. — TiniFiber appointed Dion King to the position of strategic accounts representative for the Southeast region. In this role, King will leverage over 25 years of experience in structured cabling design, technical sales, technical training, and optical fiber systems.

According to TiniFiber Vice President Barry Skolnick, “It is with great pleasure that we welcome Dion King to the TiniFiber organization. Dion brings a wealth of technical application and fiber sales experience from his many years in the industry. From his start in the U.S. Navy and work with Hughes Aircraft in Okinawa, Japan, to his impressive career at Corning Cable, Dion has established himself as an integral team member to ensure mission success.”

During his 18-year tenure with Corning, King served in multiple roles, including global commercial training manager with Corning’s Telecommunications Business Group and as national private networks sales training manager, senior field sales engineer, and senior systems engineer with Corning Cable Systems. Directly prior to joining TiniFiber, King served as a communication systems engineer with Mayer Electric Supply Co. Inc., where he successfully drove increased profits across the company’s footprint, increasing demand for its datacom products, as well as establishing a robust contractor training program. While in this role, King also broadened his distribution experience, complementing his manufacturer and installer expertise.
