RakworX Inc. achieved five Uptime Institute TIER III Ready design review awards, which were created to enable manufacturers of prefabricated and modular data center solutions to confirm the resilient design of their prebuilt solutions and to ensure performance is maintained once installed.
Uptime Institute is an unbiased advisory organization focused on improving the performance, efficiency, and reliability of business critical infrastructure through innovation, collaboration, and independent certifications. Uptime Institute serves all stakeholders responsible for IT service availability through industry standards, education, peer-to-peer networking, consulting, and various award programs.
The EDGEasy Free Series solution leverages pre-engineered designs of in-house IT racks, aisle air containment, in-row precision cooling, modular UPS systems, a monitoring system, and redundant distribution to support the IT load. RakworX received the TIER III Ready award for the following modular solutions.

- EDGEasy Free Series Model E2F-R4-44TR 44-kW
- EDGEasy Free Series Model E2F-R10-100TR 100-kW; E2F-R20M-100TR; and E2F-R30M-300TR
Model E2F- R20M-250TR 250-kW utilizes pre-manufactured designs that feature 20 IT racks and two built-in air-handling units equipped with adiabatic cooling and DX cooling features to support an IT load of 250 kW.
To help speed the Uptime Institute Tier Certification process for RakworX end customers, RakworX will now provide their customers access to Uptime Institute and the Tier Certification of Constructed Facilities award for the purchased units directly.
