ServiceChannel has announced the appointment of Brian Serino as chief revenue officer responsible for integrating and aligning all sales-oriented activities and programs throughout the company. Serino will report directly to ServiceChannel CEO, Tom Buiocchi.

Serino brings to ServiceChannel a wealth of experience in the enterprise software and SaaS industries, specifically in achieving sales success across vertical industries and building high-performance teams. His expertise will help ServiceChannel better manage rapid growth as SaaS-based service automation technology continues to transform the facilities management and contractor industries.

Over the last year, ServiceChannel has implemented a number of strategic initiatives as part of its overall growth strategy including R&D investments, market/geographic expansion, and, most recently, the acquisition of Big Sky Technologies. Recruiting and hiring top talent in key functions and positions is another important part of that strategy.

"Brian is a proven, high-performance leader who has had tremendous success building world-class teams and delivering results wherever he has been," said Buiocchi. "Bringing in an expert and a leader of Brian's caliber will be crucial in managing our growth as a company as we continue to extend our leadership in the service automation market for facilities managers and contractors."

Prior to ServiceChannel, Serino served as senior vice president of sales and business development at NetProspex, a leader in B2B professional contact data and data management, which was acquired by Dun & Bradstreet last January. Before that, Serino was vice president of North America sales at Neolane (now a part of Adobe), a leader in marketing automation and cross-channel campaign management software and services for both B2B and B2C companies. Serino also was Vice President of North America Sales at Unica, which became the foundation for IBM's omni-channel marketing software.

At each of these companies, Serino led the effort to implement sound and repeatable processes to improve goal setting, training, reporting and metrics, which helped drive revenue growth and attract top sales and marketing talent. At ServiceChannel, Serino will take a leading role in developing sales strategy and plans focused on delivering near-term and long-term growth.

"ServiceChannel is a company with tremendous growth opportunities as companies around the world modernize their facilities management practices, which will redefine how they source and manage their suppliers and service providers," Serino said. "I'm excited to apply my experience in working at high-growth companies in rapidly evolving industries to help ServiceChannel meet and exceed our ambitious goals as the clear market leader."
