One Source Networks (OSN) has announced the introduction of Cloud Lync Enterprise at Enterprise Connect, the preeminent event for enterprise communications and collaboration. The conference is taking place March 16-19 at the Gaylord Palms in Orlando, Florida.

One Source Networks is showcasing Cloud Lync Enterprise with UC partner The Via Group at booth 2012. Cloud Lync Enterprise is a fully-managed, dedicated Lync offering that provides the feature functionality of a premises-based Lync environment, delivered as a cloud-based service. With Cloud Lync Enterprise, companies can drive better collaboration across their organizations with tools that include videoconferencing, IM and presence, as well as full Enterprise Voice calling capabilities, including PSTN connectivity.

The company’s launch of Cloud Lync Enterprise represents another step in its history of leadership in Unified Communications. In April 2014, OSN’s SIP Trunking solution was qualified for Microsoft Lync 2013, and OSN became the first service provider certified on the Sonus SBC 5210 Session Border Controller to offer SIP Trunking with TLS and SRTP for Microsoft Lync 2013 worldwide.

“We are pleased to offer our customers a Unified Communications solution that is truly unique in the market,” commented Ernest Cunningham, chief executive officer, One Source Networks. “Our introduction of Cloud Lync Enterprise follows not only OSN’s Lync Trunking qualification, but also our continued investment in our robust global voice network, which now spans four continents. Together, these capabilities provide our customers with the innovative communication capabilities they require, on a global scale.”

The offering also provides significant cost savings with seat-based pricing, dedicated customer infrastructure that is hosted in OSN’s hyper-converged private cloud infrastructure, and the ability to completely replace a company’s PBX.

“We believe that Cloud Lync Enterprise offers our customers the best of both worlds: a dedicated, private environment, combined with the efficiency of a fully-managed service,” stated Gina Nomellini, chief marketing officer, One Source Networks. “Cloud Lync Enterprise is available in three architectures to accommodate the most stringent reliability requirements, and is backed by a comprehensive, industry-leading SLA that guarantees uptime and responsiveness.”

The service is currently available in North America and is slated to be deployed internationally in mid-2015.
