TierPoint LLC has announced that it has been selected by the Jacksonville Jaguars of the National Football League to provide colocation and other managed data center services.
“Having secure and reliable access to our data is critical to the success of the organization,” said Mike Webb, vice president of information technology for the Jaguars. “TierPoint’s data center in Jacksonville is state-of the-art in every way and their customer support is exceptional.”
Since acquiring the Jacksonville data center in 2015, TierPoint has completed a multi-million dollar upgrade of the infrastructure and security features of the hurricane-resistant facility to accommodate growing demand.
“The Jaguars are a very progressive organization with a strong focus on technology and great ties to the Jacksonville business community,” said Tyler Holley, regional vice president, TierPoint. “We’re proud to count them among the 5,000-plus organizations that have entrusted us with mission-critical IT infrastructure solutions.”
