Daryl Hoelscher, data center manager with Digital Realty, was named 2016 Mission Critical’s Facility Manager of the Year.
Hoelscher has more than 25 years in the industry and responsible for Digital Realty’s Richardson campus data halls. He has been with Digital Realty for nine years, and has been the technical voice for the campus since the first data center opened in 2009. He considered the “go to” guy anytime there is an IT customer escalation.
Hoelscher graduated from Texas State Technical Institute and started his career at Electronic Data Systems, now HP. He is married with two daughters and one granddaughter.
The Mission Critical Facility Manager of the Year Award recognizes exemplary performance by a data center professional. Entries were judged by Julius Neudorfer, long-time Mission Critical columnist and CTO and founder of North American Access Technologies, Inc. (NAAT) based in Westchester NY.
