AiNET® has announced that Cogent Communications has finalized plans to extend services into the Meet-me-room (MMR) at One Market Center, AiNET's Baltimore data center. This move completes Cogent's extensions of service into all four of AiNET's data centers, located in strategic areas of the state of Maryland.

Cogent joins the largest portfolio of ISPs and telecommunications providers in Maryland at One Market Center, including Level 3 Communications, Windstream, Zayo, Verizon, and others. One Market Center is a "carrier neutral" data center facility, meaning customers have choice of the ISP or provider they use to connect them to the internet and the world.

One Market Center is the major internet hub or "carrier hotel" in Maryland, it directly supports over 25% of the world's data traffic.

"We are extremely pleased to deepen our engagement with Cogent Communications," says AiNET founder and CEO Deepak Jain. "With the extension of their world reaching connectivity to One Market Center, it expands choice for our colocation and data center clients, provides for communications diversity and redundancy while enhancing the value to all of our clients."

AiNET's Baltimore data center has over 200,000 sq ft of data center space providing colocation, managed services and 24/7 cybersecurity support. Connected to all of AiNET's data centers using AiNET's 10,000 mile private fiber optic network, One Market Center implements the highest standards of security, scalability and connectivity in Baltimore and the surrounding region.
