EdgeConneX® has announced the appointment of Don MacNeil as chief technical officer. In this role, MacNeil will guide the development of the overall technology vision as well as assist in driving Edge innovations and infrastructure to new verticals and geographies.
MacNeil arrives at EdgeConneX with more than 25 years of experience in network architecture and design; network engineering, access and optimization; customer operations; product and more. Prior to joining EdgeConneX, he held several executive leadership roles as well as various management positions in operations, engineering and network at XO Communications, culminating his tenure at the organization as chief operating officer.. MacNeil is a veteran of the United States Navy, where he served in operational leadership roles developing and designing complex network systems.
