Peak 10, Inc. has announced it has been positioned by Gartner, Inc. in the Niche quadrant of the 2015 “Disaster Recovery as a Service Magic Quadrant, North America.”[i]
Gartner defines Disaster Recovery as a Service as the scenario when the service provider manages virtual machine (VM) replication and, optionally, physical machine (PM) replication from the production data center into the cloud, VM/PM activation inside the cloud and recovery exercising within the cloud.
In the Magic Quadrant for this market sector, Gartner analysts evaluated 14 service providers offering Disaster Recovery as a Service (DRaaS), based on the criteria of 'ability to execute' and 'completeness of vision.'
