INOC has announced that its senior director of business services, Art Meierdirk, will speak at the AFCOM Data Center World Global Conference 2015, taking place at the Mirage Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, NV April 19-23, 2015.
The AFCOM Data Center World Global Conference is one of the premier international conferences for data center and facilities management professionals, bringing together more than 3,500 AFCOM members to create an end-user driven program that focuses on providing real solutions for today’s data center and facilities managers.
Meierdirk will present “Next-Gen Monitoring: The Software-Defined Data Center”, part of the program’s Infrastructure Management track focused on best practices in data center management, efficiency, growth and more, taking place at 8:00 AM in room St Thomas A&B. The session will examine the migration of enterprises, service providers and other organizations to virtual data centers, including the new Software-Defined Data Center (SDDC), to obtain increased agility, efficiency and cost control. Mr. Meierdirk will discuss how the move to these new architectures challenges conventional management tools and processes for assuring the effective operations of the data center. He will also explore the changing role of the SDDC network engineer, as well as SDDC challenges and the monitoring solutions to overcome them.
