AccelOps, Inc. has announced that it has hired Dan Turchin as chief product officer. He will oversee the company’s product roadmap and strategy.

Turchin joins AccelOps from ServiceNow, where he served as senior director of product strategy. Before that, he was co-founder and CEO of Aeroprise, before its acquisition by BMC Software in 2011.

He was a founding board member at Rhomobile before its acquisition by Motorola Solutions. Prior to Aeroprise, he served in engineering roles at the Walt Disney Company, Accenture and Searchbutton.

Turchin holds B.S. and B.A. degrees from Stanford University.

“Dan is a strong customer advocate with a passion for developing products that disrupt the status quo and make work less like work,” said Flint Brenton, president and CEO of AccelOps. “He’s always looking for customers doing amazing things with AccelOps and is inspired by innovative ways they're being used to build careers and change lives. We are delighted to have him join our team.”

“I’ve watched the enterprise mobile and IT Service Management markets get disrupted over the past decade,” Turchin said. “What AccelOps is doing in IT Operations Management dwarfs the scope and pace of innovation in either one. This team and product are phenomenal, and I’ve never been around a more passionate, enthusiastic customer base. I’m flattered and incredibly excited to be joining this group at this time to support exceptional customers.”
