365 Data Centers has announced that Inerail has expanded into its Philadelphia data center to address growing demand for their services and limitations of their previous provider. 365 Data Centerswas chosen ahead of three other colocation providers due to its flexible approach, speed in responding to client requests, multiple carrier connectivity options and the overall quality of the facility.

Aside from its convenient 3701 Market Street location, 365 Data Centers' facility also met Inerail's requirements for uptime availability, compliance and access to carriers. 365 Data Centers' Philadelphia facility is HIPAA and SSAE 16 compliant and features power, cooling, connectivity and security 24 hours per day, 7 days per week and 365 days per year.

"365 Data Centers' quick response time, flexible approach and skilled technicians allowed us to migrate our considerable infrastructure deployment with little or no downtime," said Chris Rogers, CEO at Inerail. "We initially called 365 after business hours yet received preliminary pricing and scheduled a tour of the facility within just two hours – that is unheard of in this industry. The ability to rapidly migrate from our previous facility to a secure, well-run data center with a minimum of downtime was critical to ensure business continuity for Inerail and our clients. We look forward to working with 365 Data Centers in other cities as our growth continues."

Inerail has also been instrumental in the Philadelphia Internet Exchange (PHLIX), a community of regional operators that offers local businesses with connectivity options to different Internet and network service providers. The carrier-neutral PHLIX is present in five different facilities in Philadelphia, now including 365 Data Centers' facility, to maximize the number of carrier connectivity options it can offer customers. This arrangement includes a high-speed fiber optic connection via Inerail to 401 North Broad Street, Philly's "Telecom Hotel" carrier interchange, to enable greater connectivity choice, redundancy and availability for 365 Data Centers, Inerail and PHLIX customers. In addition to the shared VLANs, PHLIX also offers private VLANs between connected networks.

"Inerail is a staple for Internet services in the Philadelphia area, and 365 Data Centers is pleased to have the opportunity to help Inerail expand its business and to grow with PHLIX," says Jake Zoldan, vice president of sales for 365 Data Centers. "With PHLIX, it was necessary for Inerail to have a presence in all of Philadelphia's major data centers in order to provide a variety of connectivity solutions."
