Cushman & Wakefield has been appointed as exclusive leasing agent for 401 North Broad Street, Philadelphia. The 1.3 million-sq-ft mission critical facility is the preeminent Carrier Hotel between New York and Virginia.

Roger McManimon, Jack Meyers, and Jason Bernardi comprise the C&W team. Amerimar Enterprises leads the new ownership, which purchased the building several months ago. They are planning to infuse $70 million in capital improvements to the already state-of-the art facility. The first priority in the program is the development of a 20,000-sq-ft carrier-neutral “meet me room” (MMR).

This will be accompanied by comprehensive upgrades to the electrical, HVAC, monitoring, and security systems.401 Broad Street, already 75% leased, offers prospective tenants options from a one rack lease up to a full floor of powered shell space.
