Cloudian, Inc. has added to its staff.

The company has announced that industry executive Gregory Bryant has joined Cloudian's Board of Directors as a non-executive director. Bryant brings over twenty years of experience to this role.

Bryant currently serves as vice president and general manager, Intel Asia-Pacific and Japan.  Previously, Bryant directed Intel's sales activities for a large global account while based in Beijing, China.  Bryant was also Vice President in the Digital Enterprise Products Group and led the inception, product development and ramp of Intel vPro® Technology globally.  Bryant began his career as an engineer and held key positions in Intel's Information Technology Group.

Storage Expert Joins Cloudian

Storage industry expert Paul Turner has joined the company as chief marketing officer. Turner will help lead Cloudian, which recently received funding from Intel Capital, into its next phase of international growth as a pioneer in the emerging space of open hybrid IT.

Turner previously led the Product Strategy Office at NetApp, where he guided their investments into FlashRay, Iongrid, and CacheIQ. Prior to that role, he was the General Manager of the OnCommand Insight Business (which included Onaro and Akorri). Under his leadership this enterprise software business grew to more than $60M and was recognized by Gartner as a leader in the Storage Resource Management market. Turner has more than 23 years of development and management leadership, including 15 years at Oracle where he led Oracle's Technology Alliances Division and their Support Engineering Team. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Trinity College, Dublin, Ireland and is based out of Cloudian's Foster City, CA headquarters.
