AFCOM and Data Center World have announced its 2014 schedule of events. 

Data Center World – Global Conference 

Serving the data center industry for more than 30 years, the Spring Data Center World event has grown to become the leading international conference and expo for data center and facilities management professionals. Since its inception, the event has drawn together tens of thousands of data center professionals from all around the globe. Recognizing its leading market position, its reputation for gathering together a diverse attendance base, and producing the largest trade-show of its kind, the 2014 event will become the Data Center World - Global Conference. The Data Center World – Global Conference will be held in Las Vegas, Nevada from April 28 – May 2, 2014 at The Mirage. 

Data Center World – Leadership Conference 

The Fall Data Center World conference will move in 2014 to become the Data Center World – Leadership Conference. With a strong focus on long-term data center strategy for senior level data center executives, the Data Center World – Leadership Conference will focus its educational program towards data center executives who recognize the growing centrality of the data center in accomplishing overall business strategy. It will take place in Orlando, Florida from October 19 – October 22, 2014 at the Orlando World Center Marriott. 

Data Center World – Asia/Pacific Symposium 

For the past three years, the AFCOM Symposium has been held in Australia. With rapid growth in the greater Asia/Pacific region and continued success of the AFCOM Symposium, the event will expand to become Data Center World – Asia/Pacific Symposium in 2014. Now as the Data Center World – Asia/Pacific Symposium, the Australian-based event will continue to grow its industry leadership under the premier Data Center World brand. 

AFCOM Symposium 

Further enhancing local market educational and peer networking opportunities for data center professionals, AFCOM announced they will be holding six, one-day Symposia in conjunction with local AFCOM chapters throughout the U.S. in 2014. The goal of each single day symposia will be to gather professionals within a specific region together to learn, collaborate, and collectively address regional issues around data center development. The symposia will be held in the Spring in Atlanta, in the Summer in Boston and Dallas, and in the Fall in Philadelphia, Southern California, and Southern Ohio.
