Cushman & Wakefield, Inc. has appointed Victoria Knudson to serve as national lead for the firm’s Corporate Occupier and Investor Services (CIS) Industrial Property Management platform. Knudson, a resident of Lake in the Hills, IL, is based in Cushman & Wakefield’s Rosemont office.

The newly formed position responds to the commercial real estate services firm’s shift to a market-centric CIS practice structure. Knudson is working with leaders in 17 key United States markets, who are charged with coordinating property management assignments with the firm’s capital markets and leasing professionals to deliver integrated services for industrial real estate investors and operators.

“Cushman & Wakefield has made a true commitment to the development and growth of its industrial property management platform nationwide,” said Knudson, who joined the firm in 2011 to head that effort in the Central region. “As this initiative has gained momentum, we have seen a distinct increase in cross-market client servicing. My role is to ensure seamless and consistent delivery across geographic locations.”

Knudson noted that Cushman & Wakefield’s strength within its industrial platform as well as within specific markets provides a distinct advantage. “Many of our clients today are consolidating providers, and we have the ability to be a single-source partner,” she said. “Through our multiple business lines, we can offer full lifecycle services for their industrial assets, from acquisition consulting, to project management, to leasing and, ultimately, disposition. Our approach is more client driven than discipline driven.”

With 26years of real estate experience, Knudson previously served as vice president of operations for AMB Property Corporation and vice president of property management for Trammell Crow Company.

“Victoria is an accomplished senior executive, with a history of success in both in-house and third-party industrial property asset management for large, well-respected real estate organizations,” noted Cushman & Wakefield’s John Morris, leader of Industrial Services for the Americas. “This dual perspective adds significant value as we move forward with the strategic growth of our Industrial Property Management platform.”

Knudson holds membership in various real estate and professional organizations. She is currently active in the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP) and the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA). She holds a real estate broker’s license in Illinois.
