Rosendin Electric  has announced the appointment of Alan Dash to the newly created position of director of technology services. Reporting to Ron Wilson, director of engineering, Dash will be responsible for supporting construction projects across the company, lending his expertise in Integrated Intelligent Communications Technologies (iICT) and data systems to the design/build and construction process.

Dash has over 30 years of experience in information technology, including operations, programming, networking, security, and systems management for data center, transportation, and high-rise/multitenant construction projects. He also has extensive experience in health care, space planning, clinical information and communications systems, physical and logical security, audio/visual, and facility systems design and management.

Along with overseeing intelligent building design projects, Dash will also assist with strategic purchasing decisions and staff training. Dash is currently involved with a number of Rosendin Electric projects, including designing wireless systems using RTLS (real time locating system) services to track hospital visitors, staff members, and equipment.
