SAS 70 is the Statement on Auditing Standards No. 70, developed by the AICPA (American Institute of Certified Public Accountants). This examination provides a company's customers and its independent auditors with information about the company’s internal control structure, thereby assuring that the company is committed to operational excellence. Telx has obtained a Type II report, which indicates that it has been officially audited, attests to the design and operational effectiveness of procedures for security, controls and operations. The audit certifies that Telx has implemented and follows these documented and controlled procedures in 12 locations in nine U.S. cities. The locations covered by the SAS 70 report are as follows:
