Cushman & Wakefield today announced the appointment of Miles Loo, Jr., a managing director at the firm, to National Practice Leader for the Valuation & Advisory Services arm of the company’s Global Mission Critical Facilities Practice. Loo’s promotion enhances the firm’s robust Valuation & Advisory Services offerings for specialty property types.

 For the past 10 years, Loo has been providing valuation services on technology-related real estate assets.  Such assets include mission-critical, disaster recovery data centers, co-location facilities, carrier hotels and internet gateways all throughout United States, Canada andEurope.  Over the past few years, Mr. Loo has been involved in more than 110 appraisal and consulting assignments comprising over 22.5 million square feet of rentable space for major facilities owned and/or operated by Fortune 1000 companies throughout North America andEurope.  These studies have been used in conjunction with real estate portfolio valuations, due diligence support, internal planning, and acquisition/construction financing purposes.
