CA Technologies (NASDAQ: CA) will have a broad presence as a diamond sponsor and partner at Cisco Live and the Cisco Live Virtual Events at The Mandalay Bay Resort in Las Vegas (June 27-July 1). The company will showcase how to manage next-generation data centers with the integrations between the CA Service Assurance and Service Automation solutions and the Cisco Unified Computing System(TM). On Tuesday, June 29, two CA Technologies executives -- Roger Pilc, corporate senior vice president and general manager of the Virtualization and Service Automation business unit, and Cliff Meltzer, corporate senior vice president and general manager of the Service Assurance business unit -- will lead a Super Session on "The Impact of Mass Virtualization on Network Management."

Through a comprehensive application and service delivery lens, this session will address the obstacles and success factors shared by enterprises and service providers with heavily virtualized environments. In particular, the session will examine how a lifecycle IT management approach can enable organizations to not only quickly transition to virtualization and cloud computing, but continuously thrive in it. In this session, Roger and Cliff will explain:

-- What IT managers are facing with VM migration, process automation, self service, and configuration;

-- How to continuously assess, deploy, assure, and secure cloud services and build a more agile data center;

-- How automation triggers and real-time performance data are used in concert to enable successful quality of service (QoS) and service level agreement (SLA) achievement in a dynamic infrastructure;

-- How CA Technologies and Cisco are collaborating at a solution integration level to automate, orchestrate and optimize service delivery.

The session will be held in the Event Center at 2:45 PM PT. It will also be broadcast in real time via the Cisco Live Virtual Event.

"The collaborative technology integration between CA Technologies and Cisco that we announced last month at CA World has been well received by the market," said Roger Pilc. "We look forward to helping Cisco's customers better understand how they can accelerate the deployment of new applications and private clouds, streamline operations, reduce costs and provide reliable service delivery in public and private cloud computing environments."

CA Technologies will deliver two other related presentations at Cisco Live: Solutions Theater: "Assuring Application Delivery with Cisco and CA Technologies"

CA Technologies will also host an interactive exhibit (booth #1639) that features product demonstrations and the company's enterprise strategy; a lifecycle approach to assess, deploy, assure, and secure the Data Center of the Future - making agility possible.
