The DOE "Save Energy Now" program has partnered with the industry in the development of a process leading to practitioners becoming qualified to evaluate the energy status and efficiency opportunities in data centers. The key objective of the Data Center Energy Practitioner (DCEP) Program is to accelerate energy savings in the dynamic and energy-intensive marketplace of data centers.

The multi-disciplinary nature of data centre design and management together with rapid adoption of and advances in ICT and supporting infrastructure technology, requires that even experienced professionals need to continually improve and expand their skill sets. Combine this with a growing skills shortage within the data centre sector, the need for professional and experiential training has never been greater.

To address this business need, DC Professional Development is building a worldwide network of some of the most experienced data center professionals and domain experts to develop and deliver a series of training courses that break new ground in the data center learning space. These courses together form part of a Career Progression Framework that we believe will bring structure to an industry in demonstrating exponential growth throughout the world.
