Future Facilities North America has announced that it will kick off the New Year with a series of free webinars on IT capacity and energy management.

The four webinars, intended for data center and facilities managers, will reference case studies that describe how three leading global financial institutions were able to add capacity, extend infrastructure longevity and reduce environmental impact through improved IT infrastructure management.

During the webinars, Future Facilities’ Engineers David King, Neil Silke, and Matt Warner will provide detailed instruction on tools, techniques and best practices of data center modeling.

The webinars will start this Wednesday and run weekly through January 26th. The schedule is as follows:
  • Wednesday, January 5, 2011 - Reclaiming Capacity in an Existing Facility
  • Wednesday, January 12, 2011 - Achieving Design Capacity in a New Data Center
  • Wednesday, January 19, 2011 - Maintaining and Upgrading a Legacy Data Center
  • Wednesday, January 26, 2011 - Comparing the Cost and Risk Differences between Proactive and Reactive Approaches to IT and Environmental Management
To maximize participants’ convenience, each webinar will be conducted twice: once at 9 a.m. Eastern Standard Time, and again at 9 a.m. Pacific Standard Time.
