Toshiba added three model sizes to its G9000 uninterruptible power systems product line. This second phase of development expands the G9000s original offering of 80, 100, 160, and 225 kVA systems to include 300, 500, and 750 kVA models as well. The first of these units began shipping in January 2010. The new G9000 models are designed for stand-alone or parallel use in up to eight-unit configurations, without requiring the use of a special switchgear cabinet. They only require front access for easy installation, operation, and service.
