Aquatherm, Inc. announced the release of its new “Aquatherm and Environmental Responsibility” brochure. Aquatherm first introduced polypropylene to piping applications in the early 1970s, and could be considered the original green piping option. Relatively new to North America, it has been field tested for 30-plus years in over 70 countries and now possesses most North American major code approvals. The company’s new eight-page brochure makes a compelling argument for the environmental friendliness of poly-propylene piping. Its first page features a matrix comparing polypropylene with stainless steel, copper, steel, PEX, and CPVC, and the results are most interesting.
