Hurricane
Electric, the world’s largest IPv6-native Internet backbone and
leading colocation provider, announced the third build out of its
208,000 square-foot Fremont2 data center in November. This expansion
project secured a substantial incentive from Pacific Gas and Electric
(PG&E).
The newly added 24,000 square-foot
space (formerly an Apple manufacturing facility) has a power capacity
of three megawatts and employs some of the most efficient equipment
and techniques available.
